William Albert "Al" Wood, 66, a lifelong resident of Irving, died suddenly Tuesday, September 1, 2020 in Irving. Born September 3, 1953 in Dallas, he was the son of the late William Phillip Wood and June Cecilia Cobey Wood. He married Jean Louise Williams June 11, 1977 at the Church of the Incarnation on the campus of the University of Dallas. He worked in the office supply business. Survivors include his wife Jean of Irving; three sons Kenneth Wood and wife Kelli of Bedford, David Wood and wife Dawn of Princeton, and Keith Wood of Dallas; a daughter Theresa Lutzi and husband Andrew of Grapevine; and five grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial is planned for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at the Church of the Incarnation, 1845 E. Northgate (on the campus of the University of Dallas).
