WILLIAM BILLY DUNGAN, age 38, a recent resident of McKinney, Texas, formerly of Dallas, passed away Friday, July 8, 2016 in Irving, Texas. Born March 15, 1978 in Dallas, Texas, he married Michael Gregory Thomas on September 14, 2013 in Boston, Massachusetts. Billy was a sales associate at Best Buy in Farmers Branch and a member of Cathedral of Hope church in Dallas. He enjoyed fine dining, the Gilmore Girls and spending time with friends who affectionately called him "Silly Billy". Survivors include his husband, Michael Gregory Thomas and son, Gabriel William Thomas of McKinney; parents, William and Cheryle Ericson Pergamo, of Ashfordham, Massachusetts; in-laws, Greg and Cindy Thomas of Evans, Georgia; sister-in-law, Kristine Austin of Evans, Georgia; and brother-in-law, Christopher Thomas of San Mateo, California. The family received friends on Friday, July 15, 2016 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home. A Memorial service was held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Cathedral of Hope's Interfaith Peace Chapel in Dallas. Memorial contributions may be made to the Turtle Creek Chorale or to the SPCA in Billy's name.
