WALTER J. KOLLER, age 88, a resident of Irving, Texas for 55 years, died Monday, June 26, 2006 at Baylor Medical Center at Irving. Born September 12, 1917 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to John and Teresa Mayer Koller, he was a U.S. Army Medic Tec/4 during WW II and he was an active member of St. Lukes Catholic Church in Irving. Preceded in death by his sisters, Sr. Mary Vigilia Koller, OSF and Lillian Forceia, he is survived by his wife, Phyllis A. Koller of Irving; children, Kris Koller of Norman, Oklahoma, John Koller of Vacaville, California, Charles Koller of Carrollton and Kathryn Koller of Irving; granddaughter, Lorian Koller of San Diego, California; and sister, Erna Kaiser of Merton, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home with the Rosary to be said at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 29, 2006 at St. Lukes Catholic Church. Burial to follow at noon at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
