W. LLOYD DOSTERSCHILL, JR., age 76, a resident of Dallas, Texas, died Thursday, January 27, 2011 at a Dallas hospital. Born September 14, 1934 in Dallas, he was the son of Walter Dosterschill, Sr. and Johnetta Frick Dosterschill. Lloyd graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and North Texas State, where he was a KA. On May 25, 1973, he married Kay Kleiner at First Baptist Church in Dallas where he was a member. Among his favorite pastimes, Lloyd enjoyed watching the Texas Aggies and the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed traveling with his family. Preceded in death by his parents; his parents by marriage, Bill and Ruth Kleiner; and several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife, Kay Dosterschill; daughters, Helen Starek and husband Jason, Diana Dana and husband Mark; grandchildren, Allee Ruth Dana, Reed Edmund Dana, Delia Grace Starek and Duke Martin Starek; brother, Robert Dosterschill; nephews, Derek Dosterschill and Kyle Dosterschill; as well as many cousins and friends. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, January 31 in the Truett Chapel at First Baptist Church in Dallas. The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel. Dr. Robert Jeffress, Pastor Alan Lynch and Pastor John Cullen, officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Dallas. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church-Dallas building campaign.
