Obituary

Virginia Plowe was born October 21, 1932 and passed away July 21, 2017. She was raised in Shattuck, Oklahoma by her grandparents. She was a loving very devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She excelled in life with her God given creativeness. She had special talents in designing and constructing beautiful dresses for the pageant world but her main love was creating toys for children. She was a master seamstress and could make anything. She was also a supportive wife, married and widowed twice both husbands had a common thread in farming. She was a master at cooking for large groups during harvest season and helping out with long hours on the farm. She loved the Red River and taking her grandkids fishing and teaching them how to build sand castles. She spoiled them with love and most importantly her time. She was loved by so many and was able to make friends with anyone, truly a sparkling firework in life. She loved to laugh and have a good time when out with her friends. Polka dancing, traveling and seeing the USA by RV were some of her favorite things. She was a go-getter, fun seeking, one-of-a-kind-lady. More importantly she left her legacy in the hearts of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will always be remembered and never forgotten. She always let her loved ones know that she would always love them. She had a way of making you feel like you were the most special person in the world. Some of her last words were with a huge smile on her face and laughter in her grin and a wise crack of "may the force be with you!" But also, a question of acknowledgment of, "are all my girls here". We know she was greeted in heaven by her family and friends that had passed before her. We look forward to the day we will be able to hug and hold her again. So much life and love will be missed with her gone. She is survived by three living children: Juna Kay Lea, Dale Eagon, and Geneva Mason. Her grandchildren: Darren Lea, Kristie Sawatzky, Brandi Hull, Nikki Emison, Casey Griffin, Michael Eagon, Scott Lea; and 14 great-grandchildren. Her memorial service will be announced at a later date. Thank you friends and family for your love and prayers.
