It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Virginia Johnson, 81, formerly of Irving. Virginia passed away peacefully, Tuesday, September 16, 2025, in Fort Worth. Virginia was born on January 26, 1944, in Dallas, TX. She was the beloved daughter of James and Ruby Matthews Elmore.

Left to cherish Virginia's memory is her son, Jimmy and wife Robin Goodman; Grandchildren, J.D. and wife Sarah Goodman and Misty Goodman; great grandchildren, Madalyn, Ethan, Katelyn and Logan; and many loving sister-in-law, brother-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Gary Don Goodman; and second husband, Jessie Johnson.

Funeral services will be at 11:30 AM Saturday, September 20, 2025 at the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 W. Airport Freeway, Irving, TX. Friends and family may visit from 10:30 AM until service at the funeral home on Saturday. Burial will follow at the Oak Grove Memorial Garden in Irving.
