Violet Casper Dhonau, age 79, passed away November 20, 2023. Born December 3, 1943 in Kinston, North Carolina to Winnie Adell (Andrews) and Hardy Johnson Casper. She grew up in North Carolina, moving to Texas in 1975. Violet was known for her loyal support of the Old West Caf in Bedford, always ordering off the breakfast menu no matter the time of day. She was a loving, devoted wife and mother and will be missed by all who knew her. Violet is survived by her two children; Valarie Davis and her husband Luke and son, Derek Dhonau and his wife Tina; two brothers, Raiford and Norman Casper; five grandchildren, Vanessa, Lindsey, Brianna, Kameron and Kris; four great-grandchildren, Liam, Oliver, Emma, Selena; and her niece, Melissa Casper. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday Nov. 28th at Colonial Funeral Home of Irving. A visitation will occur one hour before service time. Interment will follow at Bluebonnet Hills in Colleyville, TX. SERVICES
