Vera Louise Mueller Hall, 84, of Irving, Texas, entered her heavenly home on Sunday, November 24, 2019, after a short illness. She was born in the rural Saginaw Valley area of Michigan and was baptized as an infant. She was the daughter of Florence and Hans Mueller and grew up with her three sisters in Flint, Michigan. Vera married James Royce Hall in December 1963 in Odessa, Texas. She was a graduate of Concordia University Chicago and taught school for seven years. She then was a homemaker for ten years before returning to work for Sears in the Human Resources Department. Preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Martha and Mary, Vera is survived by her husband, and one sister, Dorcas. Vera is also survived by her three children: Lois Rostek and husband Rick, Tom Hall and wife Annamarie, and Vicki Phelps and husband David. Grandchildren are Brittany Phelps, Cassidy Hall, Rebecca Phelps, Bailey Hall, Valery Rostek, and David Phelps. She is also survived by many cousins and extended relatives. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, December 27, 2019, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2505 W. Northgate Drive, Irving, TX 75062. For memorials, Vera would prefer contributions to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Irving or to Our Savior Lutheran Church in Flint, MI, where she was confirmed. SERVICES
