TY TRAN, age 89, a resident of Irving since September of 1987, died Tuesday, October 28, 2014 in a Garland rehabilitation center. Born December 31, 1924 in Vietnam, he was the son of Tran Van Khanh and Huynh Thanh. Survivors include his wife, Doan Thi Lieu of Irving; and his children, Tran Thi Bach Tuyet of Irving, Tran Thu Hong of Richardson, Tran Van Phu of Irving, Tran Van Ho of California, Tran Thi Thu of Garland and Tran Thi Quan of Vietnam. Four of his children preceded him in death. A visitation will be held at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 1 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 East Irving Blvd. in Irving.
