Travis Neil Terry, age 23, a resident of Irving, Texas, died March 13, 2010 in Irving. Travis was born March 23, 1986 in Tyler, Texas to Philip Terry and Donna Messec Terry. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Parlin officiating. The family will receive friends at a visitation held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. Preceded in death by his Dah, Bill Messec in 1994, he is survived by his mother, Donna Terry; sister, Amber Terry, both of Irving; Mimi, Monette Messec of Dallas; uncle and aunt, Gary and Becky Messec of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; cousins, Tyler Messec and wife Angela, and Kaylee Johnson and husband Jeremy. Travis is also survived by his dogs, Snoopy and Molly. Travis' initials describe him best T.N.T.! Everything about him was bigger than life, his smile, his laughter and his heart. Travis never met a stranger and began dozens of lifelong friendships with a nod of his head, a grin as big as Texas and a simple, "What's up, Dude! My name is Travis!" Travis somehow managed to pack a hundred years of living into his short life. He was taken from us much too soon and will be missed by all. But, fear not, he will be waiting for us at the gates of heaven with those sparkling blue eyes and never ending smile. Rest in peace, my darling son. We will walk hand in hand again someday. You will be in our hearts forever.
