Tony Lopez of Irving, Texas passed away on July 15, 2021 at the age of 92. He was born on January 17, 1929 to Atilano and Paula Garcia Lopez in Rosser, Texas. Tony was a tile setter in the construction industry. He served in the U S Army during the Korean Conflict. Preceded in death by his wife Lilly Lopez; two daughters, Jessie Galaviz and Katy" Guerra and a son, Joseph E. Torres, he is survived by a daughter, Pauline Phillips of San Antonio; granddaughters, Angela Englehart, Annisa Galaviz, Jessica Garcia, Trudi Phillips, Jami Ryan, and Samantha Feller; grandsons, Tony Phillips, Richard Garcia, Christopher Englehart, Adrian Ryan, Anthony Feller and Ryan Dixon;great granddaughters, Tori Sanchez, Alex Zamago, Emilee Martinez, Hailey Phillips, Arabella Thibodeaux, Katy Joy Feller, River Feller and Tiffani Burt;great grandsons, Cain Galaviz, Stephen Sanchez, Lorenzo Zamago, Kaden Anderson, Baby Boy Feller; great great granddaughters, Aubree Galaviz, Natalia Zamago, Indie Sanchez and Paislee Galaviz; great great grandsons, Isaiah Galaviz, Chance Galaviz, Archer Sanchez and Malakai Galaviz; Homie Sam Guerra; two sisters, Nico Hurtado and Andrea Luera. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 18, 2021 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 W. Airport Freeway, Irving, Texas. A Rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 19, 2021 at St. Luke Catholic Church, 202 S. MacArthur Boulevard, Irving, Texas. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 E. Irving, Boulevard, Irving, Texas 75060. Father Pierre Vertus will officiate.
