TONI CHRESTMAN, age 72, a resident of Dallas for more than 20 years, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012 in a Dallas hospital. Born January 5, 1940 in Dallas, she was the daughter of John Henry Gruben IV and Dorothy Barbara Walton Gruben. On August 4, 1990, Toni married Virgil Chrestman. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Dallas. Preceded in death by her parents, her survivors include her husband, Virgil of Dallas; children, Drew Barker of Dallas, Scott Barker of Denver, Colorado, Jayson Barker of Denton, Lynsey Barker of Dallas, Judy Russell of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Vicki Sutterfield and husband Jim of Little Rock, AR, Steve Chrestman and wife Cindy of Benton, Arkansas and Teresa Chrestman and her fianc Paul of Boyce, Louisiana; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 very dear friends, Doreen Christensen of McKinney and Holly Aldrich of Cambridge, Massachusetts. Service is 1:30 p.m., Friday, May 4th in the Truett Chapel at First Baptist Church-Dallas, 1707 San Jacinto Street, Dallas with Pastor Alan Lynch officiating. Burial will follow at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas.
