Tommy "Tom" Lee Wells was born December 17, 1952, in Galveston, TX, the son of Tillman Lee Wells and Mildred Hilton ne Watts. Tom passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023 at the Medical City Hospital in Arlington after complications from a stroke. Tom was a veteran, having served in the US Navy. He worked in the aviation industry as an Electric Machine Repairman. He loved a good scotch, grilling a nice rib roast, working in his garage, crafting knives, canes, and doing all sorts of woodworking. He was preceded in death by his parents Tillman and Mildred, and beloved step-father Marvin Hilton. Left to cherish Toms memory is his wife of 48 years, Jo Beth Wells; son, Matt (wife, Erin) Wells; mother-in-law, Glenda Jaques, nephew Leon Basham (wife, Amber, and children Dustin, Lexie, and Kelsie), and numerous extended family members. A graveside service will be 1:15 PM, Thursday, October 26, 2023 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Colonial Funeral Home in Irving, TX.
