Tommy Ray Dean July 26, 1943 May 23, 2024 Tommy Ray Dean, of Irving, TX age 80, passed away peacefully at home on May 23, 2024 surrounded by his loving family and friends. Tommys greatest joy in life was his family. A devoted fan of John Wayne, he often spent evenings enjoying classic Westerns, sharing his passion for the "Duke" with those he loved. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Tommy was born in Waco, Texas to Howard Dean and Callie Sparks Dean. Survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Debbie Dean of Irving, TX, daughter Rayine White and husband David of Lufkin, TX, son Michael Dill and wife Raminta of Oak Lawn, IL, daughter Nichole Galvez and husband Nicolas of Princeton, TX. He also left behind a niece, Linda Swarthout, thirteen grandkids and thirteen great grandkids, and seven great great grandkids and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many other lifelong friends. Visitation will be held for family and friends from 3-7 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2024, and funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2024. Both the visitation and funeral service will be held at Colonial Funeral Home of Irving, 606 W. Airport Freeway Irving, Texas. The services will be officiated by John Ketchersid.
