Thomas Gregory "Tom" O'Leary, age 82, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018. Born in East St. Louis, Illinois in 1935 to the late Stephen Michael and Margaret Mary (Jacobsmeyer) O'Leary. He attended the St. Louis University High School, a Jesuit Catholic high school, later graduating from the University of Illinois with a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering. Tom is a lifelong member of a group of friends, the Apaches. He is also a former Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus #5243. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and trips to Colorado. Tom is preceded in death by his parents, wife Florence O'Leary and son Steve O'Leary. Survivors include his loving children: Patty Wyatt and husband Charlie of McKinney, Gregory and wife LeAnn O'Leary of Fort Worth, Margaret and husband Terry Seville of Rhome and Michelle and husband Kevin Hennessy of Arlington; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sister Margaret and husband William Sly of St. Louis, Missouri. Visitation will be 6-8PM Thursday, March 22, 2018 with Rosary at 7PM at Donnelly's. Funeral Mass will be 11 AM Friday, March 23, 2018 at Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church: 2330 Cheyene Street, Irving, Texas with burial to follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
