Thomas Clay Jones Jr., Tom, aged 90, passed away peacefully at his home on January 12, 2021. He was born on December 4, 1930, in Lone Oak, Texas, to Thomas Clay Jones Sr. and Golda (Greaves) Jones. Tom served in the United States Air Force from January 1951 to November 1954 as an Airman Second Class. On February 3, 1956 he married Jennie Fay Magee. They raised two sons, Scott and Roger, and granddaughter Misty. Tom earned his bachelors degree from University of Texas of Arlington in 1962. He was a dedicated employee of Southwestern Bell, retiring after 40+ years. During his retirement he volunteered at the First Baptist Church of Dallas, Childrens Library. Preceded in death by his wife, Fay and his son, Roger, he is survived by his son Scott and his wife, Dianne, granddaughter Misty and her husband, Josh, and great granddaughter Emma. Tom was a caring, loving husband, father, brother, uncle and grandfather. He was dearly loved by his family and friends and he will be missed. A committal service will be held at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy., Dallas, Texas on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at 1:15 P.M.
