TIMOTHY MARTY TACKETT, age 54, a resident of Irving for 30 years, died Thursday, March 19, 2015 at home. Born March 10, 1961 in Coronado, California, he was the son of Luther Mac Tackett and Jodene Jamison Tackett. Marty was a member of Oak View Baptist Church in Irving. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and helping people. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Tackett of Irving; daughter, Melina Goltsios Klein of San Antonio; granddaughters, Taylor, Bailee and Kailyn; grandson, Bryden; parents, Mac and Jodene Tackett of Kerens; sister, Donna Hutson and husband Charles of McKinney; sister-in-law, Cynthia Firtos; brothers-in-law, Donnie Johnson and wife Sandra, Russell Johnson and wife Kathy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation is 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, March 22 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway. Service is 12:30 p.m., Monday, March 23 at Oak View Baptist Church, 1004 South Story Road in Irving with Dr. Jim Gerlach officiating. Graveside service is 3:00 p.m., Monday at Myrtle Cemetery in Ennis, Texas. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cardiac Unit at UT Southwestern Medical Center, P.O.
