THUKU LOUIS KIPASA, age 56, a resident of Grand Prairie, Texas, died Thursday, January 30, 2014 at home. Born July 28, 1957 in Kikwit in the Democratic Republic of Congo, he was the son of Wilson Kipasa and Gelani Masita Kipasa. Louis was preceded in death by his son, Jessy Kipasa. Survivors include his wife, Vicky Kipasa; daughters, Grace and Candice Kipasa; sons, Parfait Kipasa, Fiston Kabokala and Yannick Kipasa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:30 a.m., Friday, February 7 at St. Michaels Catholic Church, 3713 Harwood Road in Bedford, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. A funeral service is 9:00 a.m., Saturday, February 8 at St. Johns Baptist Church, 1701 West Jefferson in Grand Prairie. Burial will follow after the Saturday service at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens in Grand Prairie, Texas.
