Teresita, fondly known as Tessie, embraced the world with open arms and a smile that could light up any room. In her 81 years, she cultivated a home filled with love and laughter alongside her late husband, Bert Howard Wells, whose memory she cherished deeply. Tessie was a devoted mother to her children – Bruce Moss (Wife - Adrienne Moss) ; Daughters: Barbara Wong (Husband - Brian Wong) , Marilyn Foukih ( Husband – Mohammed Foukih); grandchildren - Justin Barnes ( Wife Caitlin Barnes), Jennifer ( Husband Hunter Escobar), Christine Moss, Brannon Wong, Briley Wong, Mariam Mannson, Malissa Foukih; and great-grandchildren - Joelle Barnes, Harley Escobar, Eleanor Escobar, Sophia Foukih, Hailey Mannsman, Faith Mannsman, Brooklynn Mannsman, Emily Soto. They remember her as their steadfast foundation, the heart of their family, and a guiding light through every storm.
A woman of many talents and interests, Tessie found joy in simple pleasures. She was an avid bowler, bringing both skill and camaraderie to the lanes. Her hands were skilled in the art of ceramics, creating beauty from clay, and her gardens were a testament to her patience and care – vibrant spaces teeming with life. Tessie also relished the thrill of the casino and the intellectual challenge of mahjong, activities she often enjoyed in the company of dear friends.
Those who knew Teresita will attest to the warmth and care she extended to all. She was the embodiment of a loving soul, kind beyond measure and generous with her time, her resources, and her heart. Her home was an open door to those in need, her kitchen table a place of solace and joy.
Tessie's legacy is one of boundless love and selfless giving. The lives she touched are her living testament, and her memory will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though she has left this earthly realm, her spirit remains a guiding force, encouraging us to live with compassion and to embrace each day with gratitude.
As we bid farewell to Teresita Salao Wells, we celebrate a life extraordinarily lived and a woman dearly loved. Her journey on earth has concluded, but the echoes of her laughter, the warmth of her embrace, and the generosity of her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have been part of her world.
Teresita's life will be honored in a ceremony that reflects the richness of the life she lived and the profound impact she had on those around her. Her family will gather in remembrance, not with a sense of loss, but with a profound appreciation for the time they shared with such an extraordinary woman.
Teresita Salao Wells will be deeply missed, yet her legacy of love lives on in the hearts of her family, her friends, and all the lives she gently touched. Rest in peace, dear Tessie, your journey was a well-traveled path of joy, shared with all of us.
