Teresa Cheryl Barganier, 65, of Irving, TX died Sunday, February 6, 2022, after a yearlong illness. In illness, she became blind and bedridden, but remained strong and incredibly brave throughout due to her enduring faith and love for God. Teresa was born February 25th, 1956, in Lubbock, TX. Her parents were the late Franklin D. Barganier and Emelie C. Barganier. They taught her faith in God and that perseverance in difficult times makes one stronger. Teresa never, ever gave up. Teresa had a huge heart and was a truly gifted caregiver vocationally as well as to family and friends. She was known as "Mimi" to her grandchildren, and she loved them with all her heart and soul. Teresa was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Keith Delaney Barganier. She is survived by her son Jeremy Estes and his wife Dava Estes, her daughter Jessica Estes Byrd, her son Jordan Barganier, and her beloved grandchildren: Luther, Xandor, Roman, Olivia, Aiden, Elise, Emma, and Julie. She is also survived by her sister Celia Barganier Rosser, her brother Jon Barganier and his wife Connie Hatchette, and her stepmother, Lura Easter Barganier. A graveside service will be held 11:00am Friday, February 25 (her birthday) at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving, TX.
