SYLVESTER ELMORE, age 74, a resident of Euless, died Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at home. Born January 22, 1941 in Dallas, Texas, he was the son of James Franklin Elmore and Ruby Maggie Matthews Elmore. Preceded in death by his parents, a son, Sylvester Oliver Elmore, Jr. and a sister, Evelyn Gregory, survivors include his wife, Linda Elmore; son, Dave Elmore and wife Sharon of Watauga; grandson, Karson Elmore; granddaughter, MacKenzie Plutino; sisters, Virginia Johnson and husband Jessie of North Richland Hills, and Brenda Kelsey and husband Jeff of Grand Prairie; brothers, Jimmy Elmore and wife Kathleen of Heath, LeRoy Elmore and wife Margaret of Brownsboro, and Bert Elmore of Brownsboro. Visitation is 2:00 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 1 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. Funeral service is 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 2 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd. in Colleyville, Texas.
