Susie R. Tobias, 83, a long-time resident of Irving, died on February 17, 2018 at a local hospital, She was born in Bertram, Texas on January 19, 1935 to Benjamin and Antonia (Jass) Ramirez. Susie was a member of Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church in Irving. She is survived by her children, Antoniette Tobias (Roxie) of Hurst, Abel Tobias of Irving, Adam Tobias (Adriana) of Coppell, and Anastasia (Jan) Powers of Las Vegas; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Mario Ramirez (Lupe) of Houston; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 23rd at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 24th at Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church, 2323 Cheyenne Street, Irving, TX 75062. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 East Irving Boulevard, Irving, Texas 75060.
