SUNSHINE ESCOBEDO, age 31, a resident of Irving, died Saturday, June 23, 2012. She was born October 29, 1980 in Amarillo, Texas. Sunshine was a student at the University of Texas at Dallas. Nearing the end of her studies, she was to start her student teaching soon. She attended Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church in Irving. Sunshine was preceded in death by grandparents, Maria and Rafael Escobedo; aunt, Dora Escobedo and cousins, Christopher Donald and Cyndi Donald. She is survived by her parents, Enrique and Kathleen Escobedo; and sister, Miranda Escobedo. A Vigil for the deceased will be held at 5:30 p.m., Friday, June 29th at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 2nd at Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church, 2323 Cheyenne, Irving.
