Steven Keith Huckaby, 55, of Fort Worth, died on November 12, 2017. He was born in Dallas, Texas on April 14, 1962 to Jimmie and Betty (Ogden) Huckaby. Steven is survived by son, Colton K. Huckaby of Coppell; daughter, Brittany Nicole Huckaby and fiance Derek of Royse City; granddaughter, Trinity Rose Gutierrez; father, Jim Huckaby and wife Dot of Sherman; mother, Betty Huckaby of The Colony; brother, Chris Huckaby and wife Allyson of Coppell and sister, Wendy Blaine and husband Kevin of The Colony; step-brother, Brian Christopher of Denton and step-sister, Kim Vogel and husband Dieter of Van Alstyne. Steven proudly served his country as a US Marine where he received the Marine Corps Expeditionary Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (w/2*), and a Rifle Expert Badge. He was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed all types of art. Funeral service is scheduled for Monday, November 20th at noon in the Chapel at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway, Irving, Texas 75062. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Salvation Army. SERVICES
