STAN SELBY, age 84, a resident of Irving since 1962, died Friday evening at Baylor Medical Center in Irving. Born June 2, 1926 in Hill County, Texas, he was the son of Fred and Katie Puckett Selby. A World War II veteran in the U S Navy, he retired as a supervisor with the U S Postal Service. Preceded in death by his first wife Jewell Louise Selby in 1968, a son, Stacy Paul Selby in 1994 and his twin brother Sidney Earl Selby in 2001, he is survived by his wife of 41 years, Doris Selby of Irving; sons Micheal Troutman and wife Judy of Johnson City, TX, Richard Troutman of Houston, and David Troutman and wife Kathy of Irving; and grandchildren Chris and wife Kim, Michael and wife Holly, Chase, Amy, and Rebecca. The family will receive friends at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home 4:00 6:00 p.m. Sunday. The funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at Beltline Road Church of Christ, 1202 N. Beltline Road in Irving. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
