Shirley Russell of Lewisville, died on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at the age of 80. Born July 27, 1936 in Dallas, Texas to Glen Albert and Lois Alleta (Wilson) Cullins, Shirley was a key punch operator. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard Russell; son, Robert Russell; grandson, Chad Landeck. Shirley is survived by daughters, Connie Landeck and husband Jim of Alba, Texas and Sharon Thompson of Arlington; sons, Leonard Russell of Roanoke and Jimmy Russell and wife Jackie of Justin; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sister, Marlene White and husband George of Denton; sister-in-law, Linda Cullins of Midlothian. Shirley was a Baptist. The family received friends on Wednesday, November 30th at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway, Irving, TX 75062. Funeral services were held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, December 1st. Burial followed at Lonesome Dove Cemetery in Grapevine.
