SHIRLEY E. PITTS, age 71, a resident of Dallas since June 2012, formerly a twenty-seven year resident of The Bronx, New York, died Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Doctors Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Dallas. Born January 10, 1942 in Honduras, she was the daughter of Charles Webster and Gladys Donaldson Webster. A home care attendant, she was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church in The Bronx, New York. Survivors include her children, Marion Jones of Belize City, Belize, Dana Hamilton and Kevin Webster of Dallas, Kenneth Pitts, and Phyliss McKoy of New York; sisters, Leonora Blyden of New York and Etta White of Philadelphia, PA; brothers, Herbert Donaldson of Honduras, George Webster of New York, and Ivan Webster of Maryland; sister-in-law, Glorianna Webster; sixteen grandchildren; and 1 great grandson. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 8, 2013 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 W. Airport Freeway in Irving, Texas. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Dallas.
