Sherren Y. Stanford, 75, a resident of Irving since 1973, died Tuesday, August 13, 2019 in a Dallas hospital, after a sudden illness. Born December 22, 1943 near Texarkana, Arkansas, she is the daughter of Letha Nichols Yarberry and the late Chester Arthur Yarberry. She grew up and attended school in Shreveport, Louisiana and married Randall Stanford there September 2, 1967. They moved to Irving in 1973. She worked in administration with North Texas Healthcare Network until her retirement. Preceded in death by her father Chester Arthur Yarberry, she is survived by her husband Randy Stanford of Irving; a daughter Stephanie Wilburn of Lewisville; a grandson, Hunter Wilburn; her mother, Letha Yarberry of Shreveport, Louisiana; two brothers, Steve Yarberry of Houston, and Phil Yarberry of Shreveport. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 East Irving Blvd. in Irving. SERVICES
