SHAUN TOOMBS, age 30, of Grand Prairie, Texas died Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Arlington Memorial Hospital. Born May 21, 1978 in Dallas, he lived most all of his life in Grand Prairie. An automotive salesman, he was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Grand Prairie. He married Monica Burchett November 13, 2007 in Maui, Hawaii. Survivors include his wife Monica; daughter, Haley Toombs of Irving; parents, Gregory and Terri Taylor of Irving; grandparents, Drexel and Mary Toombs of Grand Prairie and Florene Taylor of Irving; brothers, Gahlen Dinkle and Michael Dinkle of Irving. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Earl Taylor and a cousin Fran Erck. The family will receive friends at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home 6:00 8:00 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Durham officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
