Sharon Elaine Lee, 72, a resident of Irving for over twenty years, died Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at a local hospital. Born October 29, 1946 in Dallas, she was the daughter of the late John R. "Toby" Copenhaver and Doris Inez Stinson Copenhaver. She married Charles Lee January 23, 1965 in Kleberg, Texas. Sharon worked in various banks in Dallas for many years. She was Baptist. Survivors include her husband, Charles Lee of Irving; two sons, Rodney Lee and wife Piper of Atlanta, Georgia and Gary Lee and companion Cheryl Medrano of North Carolina; a sister Luann Van Winckle of McKinney; five grandchildren, Savannah House and husband Jon of Georgia, Samuel Lee of Atlanta, GA, Gary Lee, Jr. of Florida, Madison Medrano of North Carolina, and Brynleigh Lee of North Carolina; a great granddaughter, Johanna House of Georgia; a niece Kaci Lyford and husband Robert of McKinney; and her dog Prissy. A memorial service is planned for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. SERVICES
