Shane Patrick Kelly was born in Dallas, Texas on November 11, 1958, to John Wallace Kelly and Carolyn Jeter Kelly. A lifetime resident of Irving, Shane attended Central Oklahoma State College and had been employed in retail sales. He married Edna Martinez in June 2011. Shane was an active and involved member at the Elks Lodge, helping with many events and charities benefiting veterans, college attendees, along with other opportunities they hosted. When attending at the lodge a karaoke moment wasn't far. He loved to sing a good Elvis, George Strait or Charlie Daniels band song. If he wasn't singing he was telling a good story or joke to put a smile on your face. Shane was not short of random information to share. He could tell you where just about any golf course was located every place he traveled. Being a golfer since he was 13 and playing in the PGA Tour gave him more stories to tell to those he knew and met. Preceded in death by his parents and a sister Kimber Kalisse Kelly, Shane is survived by his wife, Edna Martinez of Irving; children, Kalisse Kelly of Arlington, Chase Patrick Kelly of Corinth, Brianna Martinez of Coppell, Ryan Martinez of Dallas and Lexi Martinez of Irving; grandchildren, Brinley Rhoades, Amelia Martinez, Amari Ontieveros, Camden Heisner, Callen Heisner, Harper Kelly and Ryleigh Kelly. A celebration of life service will be 1:00-4:00 P.M. Saturday, April 2, 2022 at the Elks Lodge, 909 Bushong Rd., Grapevine, TX 76051. SERVICES Reception
