SANDRA SANDY MULKEY, age 70, died Sunday, February 23, 2014 at home. Born October 2, 1943 in Ypsilanti, Michigan, she was the daughter of Ben Thomson and Mary Jordan Thomson. Sandy graduated from high school in Greenville, Texas. On May 21, 1965, she married Jimmy Neil Mulkey in Fort Worth. A resident of Irving since 1966, she was an office manager at Baker Brothers Construction in Irving for 24 years. Survivors include her husband of Irving; sons, Casey Huett of Irving, Robert Robby Huett and wife Galena of Baltimore, Maryland, and Jimmy Mulkey, Jr. of Irving; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and sister, Kathy Thomson of Fort Worth. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. Service is 12:30 p.m., Thursday, February 27 in the funeral home chapel. Committal service will be 2:30 p.m., Thursday, Lane C at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway in Dallas.
