Sandra "Sandy" Glaser, 72, a life-long resident of Irving, died Friday, April 25, 2014, at her home. Born July 8, 1941 in Irving, she was the daughter of Leon W. and Bessie Davis Roseberry. An English teacher in the Irving Independent School District for 26 years, she had attended the Irving Bible Church. She married Don R. Glaser in 1985 in Irving. Survivors include her husband, Don of Irving; daughters, Stefanie Simpson and husband Kevin of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Kristi Nelson and husband Geoff of Jacksonville, Florida, Carol Annette Strickland and husband Byron of Houston, and Janet Lynn Glaser of Irving; six grandchildren, Grace Simpson, Eli Simpson, Abby Nelson, Mary Nelson, Julie Strickland, and Andrew Strickland; a brother Ronald Lee Roseberry and wife Pam of Irving; and a sister, Judy Ann Wright of Irving. The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 West Airport Freeway, Irving, TX. Burial will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery.
