Salvador "Johnny" Rojas, 91, a long-time resident of Irving, died suddenly Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Baylor, Scott, and White Medical Center in Irving. Born December 5, 1929 in Cisco, Texas, he was the son of the late Jose Rojas and Maria Sanchez Rojas. He married Sharon Jean Carroll in Irving. She preceded him in death December 1, 2009. He was a maintenance worker and was the custodian at Oak View Baptist Church for twenty years before his retirement. Preceded in death by his wife Sharon, he is survived by six children, Cecil Rojas, Sheila Harbin, Lisa Tort, Johnny Rojas, Amanda Rojas, and Benjamin Rojas; thirteen grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren, with one on the way. A Memorial service is planned for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. SERVICES
