Sally Beth Elms, 73, of Irving, Texas, was welcomed rejoicing into Heaven on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at the Vitas Hospice at the Carrollton Regional Hospital in Carrollton, TX. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Friday, August 23, 2024, at the Calvary Church Chapel / 4401 North State Highway 161, Irving, TX 75038. Reverend Garry Page will officiate. Funeral services are under the direction of the Colonial Funeral Home of Irving, 606 West Airport Freeway, Irving, TX 75062. Sally was born on February 28, 1951, in Dallas, Texas. She was the daughter of Thomas N. and Mary Jo Shaw Elms. She has been a longtime member of the Calvary Church (Calvary Temple) in Irving. Sally departed this earth with faith that her children would guide their own families with the teachings of Jesus Christ, Our Father, in this complex world. While our hearts mourn her loss, we find comfort knowing she is no longer suffering. Sallys body is now whole, and she will spend eternity in Glory. In her final conscious moments, through tears, she expressed her pride in her sons and their families and offered heartfelt thanks to her entire family and the many friends who unceasingly encouraged, loved, prayed, and enjoyed life with her. She was preceded in death by her parents; the love of her life - John Alan Pugh, and her siblings, Patsy Cramer, and Thomas Elms. Left to cherish her memories are her sons, John Thomas Pugh and wife, Tammy and Brandon Joseph Pugh and wife, Sophie; grandchildren: Christian Pugh and wife Dakota; Abigail Hoffman and husband Luke; Breanna Sibley; John James Pugh and wife Lauren; and Joy Pugh; and her siblings: Peggy Lambert; and Danny Elms and wife Judy; and of course many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
