RUTH WHITE SILLS, age 84, of Euless, died Friday, April 11, 2014 at Baylor Medical Center in Irving. Born November 18, 1929 in Wink, Texas, she was the daughter of Francis Guy White and Fredonia Hammett White. A private school kindergarten teacher for many years, she was married to James "Jim" C. Sills, III June 10, 1953 in Brownfield, Texas. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Irving. Survivors include her husband, Jim of Euless; son Guy of Euless; sisters, Maggie Nell White Atkinson of Houston, Nancy Ann White Moriarty of Sugarland, and Elizabeth White Price of Montgomery, Alabama. A committal service will be 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery with a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Irving. A visitation and lunch will follow the service at the church. Services are under the direction of Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway, Irving, Texas.
