RUTH L. JEFFCOAT, age 89, a resident of Irving, formerly of Kansas, died Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Baylor Medical Center in Irving. Born October 29, 1924 in Caldwell, Kansas, she was the daughter of John and Mabel Grove Kalbfleisch. On September 8, 1954, she married Raymond Jeffcoat in Dallas. Preceded in death by her son, John Jeffcoat in 2013, survivors include her husband, Raymond of Irving; daughter, Marvel Jeffcoat and fianc Dan Kessler of Fort Worth; and sister, Marvel May of Wichita, Kansas. A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 204 South MacArthur Blvd in Irving.
