It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ruth Bolin Carroll, 90, of Arlington, Texas. Ruth passed away peacefully, Thursday, September 4, 2025, at her residence in Arlington. Ruth was born on February 22, 1935, in Princeton, TX. She was the beloved daughter of Samuel and Annie Funk Bolin.

On August 6, 1953 she married William O. Carroll who preceded her in death on March 13, 2011 after 57 years of marriage. She was a member of Oak View Baptist Church in Irving. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by her partner, William "Bill" Hedges, of Ft. Worth, Texas. Her 3 children Pamela Gray of Arlington; Brenda OKeefe and Michael of Mansfield, and son Mike Carroll and his wife Kathy of Kennedale. 8 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, September 20th, 12:00pm, at the Life Fellowship Church, 611 Little School Rd., Kennedale TX 76060, 817-478-0428. Private burial at Dallas-National Cemetery at a later date.
