Ruth Bruce, of Haltom City, passed away on May 1, 2024 at the age of 83. She was a devout member of the Wisdom Center Church in Ft Worth, TX, an accomplished floral designer and piano player. Most of all, she was a shoulder to lean on; who was always full of sage advice. Her life was filled with love for family and God's word- and she was surrounded by her family at the moment of her passing at Medical City Hospital in North Richland Hills, Texas. She leaves behind her husband of 55 years Bryan Bruce, her two children Marissa Bruce and Luther Bruce, her two sisters Esther Flores and Lydia Lerma, and her grandchildren Lorenzo Bruce & Serina Bruce, who lovingly referred to her as Mima. Her service will be held at Donnelley Colonial Funeral Home in Irving Texas on Thursday, May 9th at 7 PM. Burial Service will be Friday May 10, 2024 at the Veterans Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery at 9 AM.
