Ross Wayne Ryan was born July 31,1937, in Stamford, Texas, the son of Abb Nelson Ryan and Irene James Ryan. He passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023, in Denton, Texas. Ross grew up in Graham, Texas and graduated from Graham High School in 1955. After high school, he joined the US Army and was self-employed. He was a member of the Irving Masonic Lodge #1218, AMBUCS, Scottish Rite Dallas & Shriner of Dallas. Ross was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Nell Bass. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Suzanne Brockenbush and husband Dan, their children Hayden and Carson and Marykay Smith and husband John, their children Harrison, Taylor and Gatlin. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, December 29th at Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway, Irving, TX 75062. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, December 30th, at the Coleman Cemetery in Coleman, TX.
