Rosemarie Brown, age 84, a resident of Irving for fifty years, died Saturday, March 12, 2022 at a local care center. Born May 18, 1937 in Brookline, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas Maffeo and Maria Guarino Maffeo. She married Henry James "Buddy" Brown September 9, 1956 in Boston, Massachusetts. Vice President of Park Lane Jewelry, she was Catholic but also attended 121 Community Church in Grapevine. Preceded in death by her husband Buddy and a son, Anthony Brown, she is survived by two daughters, Deborah Brown-Ruth and husband Scott of Wylie and Rosemarie J. Prince of Irving; nine grandchildren, Jeremy Brown, Joselyn Cervantes, Nicole Olivas, Gene Zieschang, Jamie Zieschang, Natausha McNaboe, Krystal Ruth-Cheatham, A. J. Brown, and Abby Brown; twelve great-grandchildren; siblings, Eleanor Flynn of Roslindale, Massachusetts, Rita Guarino of Naples, Florida, Anthony Maffeo of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Maria Ryan of Norwood, Massachusetts. The family will receive friends 7:00 9:00 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2022 at Colonial Funeral Home of Irving, 606 West Airport Freeway 75062. The funeral will be Noon Saturday, March 26, 2022 in the funeral home chapel followed by a reception at the funeral home.
