Ronald E. Sykes, 76, formerly of Irving, was born on December 24, 1949, in Shattock, Oklahoma the son of Beecher Sykes and Coeta Piersall Sykes. Ronald passed away July 5, 2026, at the Heritage Trail Nursing facility in Cleburne, TX

Ronald was preceded in death by his parent, his wife, Cathy Brown, sisters, Peggy Brown and Judy Sykes. Ronald is survived by his son, Randy Sykes; and Ronald's siblings, Ken Sykes, Linda Horne and Bob Sykes.

Funeral services will be 12:00 PM, Monday, July 20, 2026, at Colonial Funeral Home of Irving Chapel. Burial to follow at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Friends and family may visit on Monday, July 20th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel of Irving.
