Ronald Lee "Ron" Harrison, 80, a resident of Irving since 1970, died Monday, May 3, 2021 at his home after a short illness. Born December 15, 1940 in Memphis, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Garland Lee Harrison and Theta Pauline Speakes Harrison. They lived in Shamrock, Texas before moving to Irving. He served in the United States Army from 1959 until 1961. He was in computer work with Braniff Airlines until 1982 when he opened his own landscaping business and continued until retiring in 2010. He married Veronica Lolita Charleston in 1982. Preceded in death by a son, Mark Randall Harrison in 1984, he is survived by his wife, Veronica of Irving; and a son Perry Harrison and wife Tina of Irving. A memorial service is planned for 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. SERVICES
