Roman
Ramirez
Nov 2, 1974 — Nov 12, 2025
Roman Ramirez, lovingly known by many as "Ro" and remembered in his younger years as "Apple," passed away surrounded by the love of his family. Roman was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose greatest joy came the moment he became a Paw Paw. To his precious grandchildren, he was their beloved Paw Paw—a title he held close to his heart. He would do anything to keep a smile on their faces and treasured every moment spent with them.
Roman adored his children, Abigail Ramirez and Roman Ramirez Jr., and loved them with steady, unwavering pride. He cared deeply for his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and his entire extended family, supporting them in every way he could. A true supporter of kids' sports, Roman could often be found cheering loudly and proudly from the sidelines.
Roman had a deep passion for hot rods and classic cars, and he enjoyed attending car shows with family and friends—times filled with laughter, stories, and unforgettable memories. He also loved horses and had a special appreciation for classic movies, which he enjoyed watching time and time again. Roman treasured his friends and shared countless crazy, funny, and heartfelt moments with them. With a gift for making new friends wherever he went, he was known for his big heart, warm smile, and willingness to help anyone in need. His kindness touched the lives of so many.
Roman is survived by his loving wife, Matilda Ramirez; his daughter Abigail Ramirez and son-in-law Cesar Castilleja; and his son Roman Ramirez Jr. He leaves behind four cherished grandchildren: Jordan, Cesar (C.J.), Thalia, and Roman "Chiquito." He is also survived by his siblings: Yesenia Ramirez Husband Matthew Mahtesian , Ramiro Ramirez Wife Ofelia Ramirez , Juan Ramirez, Linda Ramirez, and Graciano Ramirez.
Roman was preceded in death by his parents, Ramiro Ramirez and Maria Magdalena Morales de Ramirez. Roman was loved and respected by many, and his generous spirit, warm heart, and joyful presence will be missed dearly. Though he is no longer with us, his love, laughter, and legacy will live on forever in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him
