ROMA WOMBLE, age 77, a resident of Irving since 1957, died Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at home. Born October 26, 1933 in Lingo, New Mexico, she was the daughter of Artie and Jessie Mae Wilks. Roma was a member of Plymouth Park Baptist Church in Irving. Survivors include her husband, E.V. Don Womble; children, Steve Womble and wife Tracy of Irving, Beverly Morin and husband Rick of Irving, Kim Hollis and husband John of Hope, Arkansas, and Kevin Womble and wife Carol of Round Rock; eight grandchildren, David and John Morin, Rachel Burkett, Ryan, Andrew, Conner, Jacob and Emily Womble; and a great grandson, Levi Womble. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 9:30 a.m., Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Plymouth Park Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Branam officiating. Burial will be 2:00 p.m. at Chinquapin Cemetery in Van Zandt County, south of Canton, Texas.
