Robin, age 54, a resident of Irving for 29 years, died Monday, April 1, 2013 of complications from Myotonic Dystrophy. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was loved and will be missed by many. Preceded in death by parents, James H. Nelms and Gloria Woody Nelms. Survived by husband, Richard, and daughter, Ethany Miller both of Irving; sons, Stephen Wiese and wife, Starla, John Wiese and wife, Nikki all of Oklahoma; five grandchildren, whom she loved very much: Karisa Cooper, Lydia, Ryder, Tarah, and Ruthanna Wiese; brothers, James Shannon Nelms and Mason Grant Nelms, both of Portland, Oregon; and mother-in-law, Betty J. Wiese of Granbury. Robin was a native of the Dallas and Seagoville areas. She was a woman of strong faith and voted best MeMaw ever! The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 3 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. Service is 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 4 at Oak View Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
