ROBERT J. SHADDOX, age 81, died Monday, April 16, 2012 at an Irving nursing center. Born April 16, 1931 in Dallas to Julius James J.J. Shaddox and Jimmie Gibson Shaddox, he moved to Irving in 1952. Mr. Shaddox was a member of the Baptist church. Preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Lonnie Shaddox and Tom Shaddox, survivors include his son, Danny Ray Parlington and wife Kathy of Irving; daughter, Debra Parlington of Dallas; granddaughters, Corby ODell and husband John, Danielle Parlington and Barbie Parlington. Interment service is 2:15 p.m., Thursday, April 19 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery with Aaron Neil Shaddox officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m., Thursday at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home.
