ROBERT JOSEPH MARTIN, age 49, of Farmers Branch, died Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Methodist Medical Center in Dallas. Born May 30, 1960 in Dallas, he was the son of the late Bobby Joe Martin and Dorothy Ann Hunt Martin. An amazing father, grandfather, beloved uncle and a true friend, he was a member of North Irving Baptist Church. Survivors include his daughters, Megan Martin and husband Derek LaTorre of Lewisville, Kayla Bruno and Julie Takacs of Irving; grandsons, Dylan LaTorre and Dominick LaTorre of Lewisville; sister, Dorothy Lambert and her husband Wayne of Red Oak, Texas; niece, Alyssa Lambert of Irving; nephews, Bobby Beers of Arlington and Garrett Lambert of Red Oak; aunt Patsy Wallis and husband Bob of Forney; numerous other family and friends. A memorial service will be 6:00 p.m. Monday, May 31, 2010 at North Irving Baptist Church, 3718 N. Story in Irving. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
