Robert Henry "Bob" Hummert, 87, of Grandview, formerly of Irving, died Saturday, July 11, 2020 in Grandview. Born April 8, 1933 in St. Louis, Missouri, he was the son of the late Alois Hummert and Cathern Rehkemper Hummert. He served in the U S Army and worked as the Claims Manager for Hertz for many years. He married Patsy Breeding June 2, 1956 in Dallas. She preceded him in death on March 9, 2020. Survivors include four sons, Mike Hummert of Irving, Stephen Hummert and wife Julie of Grandview, Mark Hummert and wife Brenda of Euless, and Tod Hummert and wife Angie of Carrollton; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, private family services will be held. Burial will be at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
