ROBERT BOB O. BERRY, age 69, of Grapevine, a former resident of Irving for 40 years, died Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at a Grapevine hospital. Born December 15, 1943 in Washington, D.C., he was the son of Thomas P. and Gladys Berry. He grew up in Hawaii. On March 6, 1965, he married Kassandra Kemp in Weatherford, Texas. He owned Excel Air Transport Company. He was a member of Rotary International, and Plymouth Park Baptist Church in Irving. Preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Thomas P. Berry, Jr., survivors include his wife Kassandra Berry of Grapevine; sons, Jeffrey Paul Berry and wife Amy and Erik Kemp Berry and wife Angela all of Flower Mound; four grandchildren, Landon, Katherine, Peyton, and Tate; sisters, Eugenia Tunstall and Patricia Nixon of Nevada; and a brother Bill Berry of Arkansas. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, November 1, 2013 at the chapel of Plymouth Park Baptist Church, 1714 North Story Road in Irving. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Burial will be at 12:30 p.m., Friday at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery (Lane C).
